Commissioned on he 27/03/05 and the first clini conducted by Professor Goonewardene on the 28/03/05 - see below for some of the photos

The Field Hospital is currently used to hold clinics, as a day investigations and treatment centre for Gynaecological and Obstetric patients and also a teaching facility for medical students in addition to being used to hold clinical examinations.
